hilton would never had made that play even if he doesn't fall.  he was beaten
Tomlin needs to go. We should've POUNDED these scrubs. Terrible coaching. Stupid to sit Ben when he clearly could play.

Fire Tomlin. Fire him. I'm done with him. He needs to go.

Sad, really sad lack of character and heart...

100% accurately said. And lack of coaching as well.

Especially that! I hope this disaster finally shuts the Tomlin apologists the eff up!!!
Done with Tomlin. His time has come. I've been a solid supporter for years, but this is the end. He's no longer the right guy for the job. We still have a window with Ben, AB & Juju. I think a new coach could infuse enough mojo to get another Super Bowl out of Ben. Maybe two.

I'm sick and tired of watching Tomlin-coached teams play down to opponents they should destroy. Year after year after year. He needs to go.
The kick was blocked, Tim. That one, at least, wasn't Boswell's fault.

That said, everyone had a horrible day, most of all the coaches. It's bad enough that my dad, one of the most patient Steeler fans I know, is entertaining the idea of Tomlin being fired. After a game like this, coupled with the collapses against the Chargers and Jags (if the first three quarters of that game wasn't a collapse, I don't know what you would call it), who can blame him?

I've heard that he's as responsible for the defense as Butler is these days, and if that's true it's not helping his case one bit. I still don't think he WILL go, but if he does, it won't shock me as much as it would have a couple of weeks back. I think Butler and Smith will pay before he does, though.

It wasn't blocked. He slipped. Because he's become a flippin' head case. His timing is off. His mechanics are off. His confidence is shot.

He needs to GO.

Glad you finally joined the club! C'mon in ;)  He was the right choice when Lebeau and Arians were in their prime but he's been over his head for a long time now, ever since some actual coaching was required of him.

Tomlin could have gotten rid of him weeks ago when it was obvious he was done.  Is Tomlin the ONLY person in the universe that doesn't understand that?  So yes that kick was directly attributable to the decision Tomlin made to keep this guy kicking.  Tomlin's time management was horrible  Poorest coaching decisions I've seen made in a long time.  This team is done and it's on him and his putrid staff

Worst challenge record in the NFL... By far... That's a documented fact... Just another example of his p-poor judgment!

+1, +1, +1... Seeing him trot out there reminded me of Artie trying to cover a geriatric tight-end.  The jobs in his head.. Big time... Just like Artie... Sad but true...
3 L in a row, with the offensive talent on this roster is simply inexcusable. I sincerely hope that point isn't lost on the Rooneys

It's about to be 5 losses in a row. From 7-2-1 to 7-7-1. If that happens, it will be the biggest Steelers collapse since... man, when? 1998?

There's no way Denver and Oakland should've even been in the game. We should've run them over like speed bumps. Instead... embarrassing losses.
I was watching Red Zone, but i saw that he slipped. Thom Brenneman said it was blocked, but i have a hunch that the kicker slipped.
