The OC is beyond belief. Somewhere in the 2nd half we had decent field position and a 2nd and 1. We went deep both times and ended the drive.
I know Fitchner is Ben's buddy but I think he is in way over his head at OC. That and all the injuries.
Drafting heavy on the defensive side of the ball for the past 8 or 9 years has caught up with the offense. If Ben comes back and they sill want to go for #7 they will need a couple of RBs and a WR or 2.

I know the answer...Tomlin broke into Danny Smith's office and stole a case of his bubble gum and passed it around to the players.

Now that is some funny stuff right there.

To chew on something means to think about it. It's a common expression.
Anyone expecting straight, fan-friendly answers from a football coach is wasting their time and brainpower. News conferences are used by coaches as a more public way of talking to their players, not to the fans or media. If they couldn't use the media in that way, they most likely wouldn't allow cameras or reporters around the team at all unless they were ordered to.

He could have said something like “We’re on to Cincinnati”, and everybody would call him a genius....

I would never call him a genius. I'm tired of his cliches

They're called Edibles, Apparently Tomlin dispenses them to his players in a bid to dull them down enough for them to believe that he has actual leadership abilities.
