Pulling for the kid as well as all the draft picks. Reading several articles who knows if he'll make it or not, the draft isn't an exact science. For every Ryan Leaf (1st round) there is a Tom Brady (6th round).
My only beef with this pick and Edmunds, Claypool (to a point) and the list could go on and on is the Steelers tend to overdraft.
What that means is Highsmith probably would have been there in a lower round and a worthy pick could have been selected. Same with Edmunds, he was rated by most organizations as a 3rd or 4th rounder.
