Well, on paper, we should win this. Our offense is ranked low, but steadily improving. Their offense is worst in the league and regressing. Our defense is also significantly better, although we lack turnovers so far this year.
I think the turnover shortage will change tonight as the defense forces Chicago into at least 3 turnovers. As a Buckeyes fan, I have a warm place in my heart for Justin Fields. But none of that matters tonight.
Crucify him.
I expect to see more straight-ahead blocking success for the O-line tonight as well. Our running attack hasn't been great, but we're on the rise while Chicago's run defense is in the bottom 3rd of the NFL. The O-line gave Cleveland's talented front 4 everything they could handle last week, dominating them in my view. I hope to see more of that tonight.
Even so, my gut tells me this won't be easy. As much as I'm in the mood for a blowout (which could happen), I have a feeling this will be a relatively low-scoring event that we finally put away late.
Steelers 24, Bears 12.
