Here we go

Steelers 24

Pats 13
I'll miss the live game but have recorded it. I opted to play with my wife in a couples event at the golf club today after church. It's a beautiful day at the beach. Celebrating it with Jesus along with my wife and friends feels right.

I caught the opener at the local with some friends. It was one of the most interesting and fun wins, even without sound, I can recall.

This place has been pretty much a dead space this year. That's sad.
I may miss a little as well. Went on a quick shopping trip and broke down.
Nice to see we're holding them to 5 yards a rush (eyeroll)
Minka!
Is Canada out? That drive actually looked pretty well called compared to what is usually seen.
It's still like watching pre-season ball. Both lines are having issues
Oh man. Witherspoon almost had it !
.

. It's hard to watch Trubisky... He doesn't have

What we need. This is sad...
What terrifies me most this second half is Billicheat versusTomlin with game adjustments. We know how that usually works out.
FG.....missed.

More game to play. 50/50 we pass the 50.
MEGA MUFF
For the love of Pete can the Steelers now open up their offense and actually try to get some points! This bland, predictable crap has got to go.
And Belechik does what they do when you turn it over on your own 20.....

Yeah, that was a tough one to watch for sure.
17-6 hasn't felt this huge in a long time
A RB and 3 WR's out on the pattern. NO ONE past 5 yards.
Muuuuth !!!!
Last drive behind with ten minutes left. Run on first down, pass short of the sticks. Punt. Classic Canada.
when we had the ball with under 7 minutes.... 3rd and 2 and they throw to Najee over head? WTF That was the game right there. you get the 2 yards and milk the clock yard by yard.
Classic Big Ben would have milked the clock and scored....
Canada is an Oxygen Thief, plain and simple.
That was one of the most uninspired games I've seen
Just got home from a mini-vacation to Nashville/Memphis/Louisville. Missed the game. Glad I did based on this thread.

Can't say I'm surprised without TJ... and with Canada.  Sick

In brighter news... the missus cleans up purdy.  Pi_heartbeating

Pass rush without Watt was non existent. The QB had way too much time. The Pats also ran the ball well at the end to put the game away.

A match up of head coaches went the Pats way. No surprise there.

A promising start in Cincy was wasted with an uninspired performance today. It seems Watt is the energy on this team and they play pretty flat without him.

On the plus side I had fun on the course. We finished 9 under which was perfect. The winning team was at 10 and they have to run the game next month. We got our cash back plus a little extra. It was exactly what my foursome wanted to achieve.

I didn't see the game, but this was to be expected, I suppose. Watt is such an impact player. Minkah is the only other player who comes close. Cam is still really good, but his impact is diminished without Watt.

Yep. No surprise there, sadly. Not to mention what I have been convinced for some time is the worst O-coordinator in the league.

Yep. Not surprising. The defense played lights out last week, and Watt was a wrecking ball. No way that was going to happen this week, and with no offense to speak of, well... 1-1. Without Watt, I think the defense becomes very average. Godspeed, TJ.
Remember last year what I said about Canada? It really wasn’t about Ben was it?

I’m not exactly sure he’s interested in helping players (or the team for that matter) succeed more than he is about having his plays run.

I remember performing music arranged by self indulgent arrangers insisting we “play the ink” to disastrous results, and were thrilled with outcome.

Or in other words:

“The operation was a huge success, but the patient died.”

Absolutely. The problem last year was Canada, not an aging Ben. The problem this year is Canada, not our 2nd-tier QB posing as a starter.

Your analogy of successful operation/dead patient is spot-on. Canada can't play jazz; he can only play what's written on the page (in his own handwriting). They talk like he's creative, but he's not. He's as wooden as Charlie McCarthy.
