Cleveland waived him last night, a change of venue could do wonders.

Jason Canafora doesn't have the best history of "scoops". Apparently Pouncey is trolling him to come to Pittsburgh (they were college team-mates).

He's supposed to be friends with AB, too. I don't think it's fake news. We'd be crazy not to explore it as an opportunity. That said, we never seem to be willing to do what it takes to ink these kinds of deals. Not sure if that's good or bad; just seems to be the reality.

Haden isn't a silver bullet, but without question, he would immediately improve our secondary. It would be great if we could sign him in a sane way.
Schefter says we are now the favorite. Which means probably won't happen.

Sign him and take a look at Revis too.

Have to go all in, like Denver did with Elway late in his career.

Send Ben out a champion.

Our weak secondary likely stands between us and the Lobardi.  I hope this is true.
Wow! That's great news!!!!  Rockon
It's true and Jason Canfora was actually right. Blind squirrel theory, I suppose.

Haden turned down larger offers because he wanted to be a Steeler. Pouncey and A-B lobbied him hard to sign.

Rumor warning - now they are turning their attention to Revis.
And all this recent activity since Ben threatened to quit?

Not a coincidence IMO.
Put Haley in the sky-box.
With his headset shut off.
I'm all for Revis too. We tons of nickel and dime anyway.
Revis is washed up. I think I'd probably try to explore other options...

Have Hailey look for another team

"Washed up" might be a little harsh... but I tend to agree, Cali. Revis Island is long gone. He'd add some depth and experience, but he's not a premier cover corner anymore. Not even close.
Since Ben apparently signed off on Haley being in the booth Haley returned to the sidelines tonight and will apparently start the season back on the field.

Told you his ego wouldn't allow it. He's more worried about getting credit than winning.

Asshat.

Roll Roll Roll Roll Roll
Confirmed: Haley back on the field.

You know that was going to happen when Ben said he liked him in the booth.

Have you ever read the articles on Haley when he was with the Chiefs? This dude has issues, no doubt.
He's had issues BEFORE he went to the Chiefs.

The guy is just unstable. Ever see the pictures of Ben and Tomlin talking, and then you see Haley looking over trying to be slick and hear what they are saying? IMO Haley is a direct snitch to Art II and the local PGH media.

Ive been at many Steelers games behind the bench. I've heard arguments and even Steeler fans getting into it with players...

Haley does have a tude on the side line as he walks back and forth. Each game I notice, no one wants to be around him.  Here are some of my pics. You can probably fill in the rest -

I'm glad you said the same thing about Haley on the sidelines.

Because when I post it people claim how wrong I am and I'm just hating on Haley.

Every game I've been to since he was hired I've sat right behind their bench. It's like that every game. Offense comes off the field and no one is within 20 feet of him for the most part.
I don't like Haley at all. In fact I named his offense: "Haley's Vomit." I think the guy has some bats in the belfry. If you read about his experience at KC (especially when he knew his days were numbered) you understand what I mean. A few examples: He thought the Chiefs had bugged his phone, he stopped taking showers for the last few weeks, he thought his home was infested with brown recluse spiders, he saw black helicopters, he found a dead rat in his McDonald's salad, etc. He's not wrapped too tight.

However, with that being said he is doing exactly what Art II hired him for. Keeping his $20 million QB healthy for playoffs. Last year Ben had a career low 16 sacks. He is doing the job he was hired for. Ben was taking a pounding under Arians.

If you blame anyone it has to go to Art II.
I know there's a lot of hate for Haley out there, but honestly, I don't despise the guy like some. I'm not a big fan, but I agree with what Chucktown said: a big part of Haley's job was/is to keep Ben from getting hit. Keep him healthy. Well... healthiER.

Where I don't like Haley much is in the red zone. Let Ben call those plays. Hell, let Rollers or Crash call those plays... as long as it's someone other than Haley.
Agreed, I would love to see the "No Huddle" more, perhaps 35 to 40% of the time. It's a pretty scary offense when the "No Huddle" is used. Plus the defense can't substitute.
