McMillen and Wife Steelers Message Board

Full Version: Week 3 vs Bears - Heroes, Game-balls, Goats

Heroes - None, zero, nada, zip

Game-balls - a half deflated Tom Brady special to Vance McDonald. Good hustle, but it only delayed the invetible.

Goats - The entire Steeler organization, coaching staff, and players. A big F-you. If you don't have the courage to come out of the locker-room you don't deserve to win.

A very special F-you to the offensive line. YOU GUYS SUCK - big time.

Todd Haley - You suck as well.

As much as I despise Harbaugh a few seasons ago his OC wasn't getting the job done and he canned his OC on a Monday. I wish Tomlin would do the same, but he won't.
There is one real hero on this team. AV.

I read the guy who heads up the players union made some comment re how dangerous it is playing in the nfl. Maybe but how does that compare to having bullets flying at you or running into a burning building to save lives and property? The players and now owners are on a social justice kick that makes no sense to me. It turns my stomach and is turning me away from the game.

Cops, firemen and our military personnel deserve respect. Our flag does as well. These people make sacrifices, some make the ultimate sacrifice, for the good of our citizens/Nation. They fight, bleed and some die. All with courage. That's much more relevant and deserving of respect than any and all social issues that can be fabricated or imagined. Much more important than sustaining or risking an injury while playing a game and making big bucks.

I'm not suggesting any cop, fireman or military person are perfect and without sin. But I am more than weary of all the racist bull shit that is promoted every time a cop has an issue with a minority. All too often, when one digs for the truth, the perp has a felony arrest or two on his record. Good old boys they are not. Regardless of the photos taken a decade prior and published as current. Regardless of the slant the liberal media pushes without fail. All lives matter. Blue, white, black, yellow, red, camo, etc.

I will vote with my wallet re this situation. I gave my season tickets away long ago. I've attended a couple of super bowls since then and a few regular season games. I will not do so again. I will not purchase any team products. For me this team and ownership showed their true colors, except for AV, and don't deserve one red cent from me.

I agree with Trump. Those performers and owners who don't respect America and her true heroes deserve to be fired and that's exactly what I'll do with my wallet. I hope millions of Americans do as well. That's the best way to show these pampered millionaires how to recognize a true hero as well as placing a value on their social justice concept.

I'll Maniac that.  Thumbsup  Villanueva behaved like an adult American male should.
AV is a hero and I meant no disrespect. The section I post is about actions during the game.

AV was and is a hero long before he was a Steeler.
Tomlin can't fire Haley. Art II won't let him.

That's what the last five years plus has been.

Art II won't admit he made a mistake.
