Defense is Not that good tonight

Sleepwalking on offense and defense. Embarrassing. 

10 days to prepare for this, and this is what we get?

They realy missed Ju-Ju tonight, but we get the win! Great teams find ways to win.

I'd rather have to deal with drops than the constant subbing and recess formations.

The talent will take over at some point when you just leave it on the field.

Another 2-0 trip for me. Haven't seen a Ben loss since 2008 Indy.

I've seen #7 play live A LOT while not having full time season tix (and have every game on DVD), that sideline throw to AB is in the top 5.

Truth.

Everybody is talking about AB's perfect catch, and rightfully so... but that throw by Ben was also f-ing perfect. PERFECT. 

Ben seems to be finally hitting his stride. Please, please, PLEASE... continue with the no huddle. His numbers look pretty amazing even though he had no less than 6 drops by receivers (speaking of things that need fixed). A real NFL tight end should be a priority in next year's draft.  

Hunter, Bryant, James, Rogers and Bell all had drops. Even AB had a drop, but he gets a pass for obvious reasons. Eli Rogers continues to disappoint since coming back. 2 drops. Bell was HUGE in the passing game. Ridiculous. 12 catches for 88 yds? I don't know how much his YAC was, but every one of those yards were important. The guy was amazing. 

Martavis Bryan was solid last night, too. Doesn't look like much on paper... only 4 catches for 40 yards. But it was the best he's looked this season, IMO. Still had a bad drop, but he didn't pout afterward and overall, I was pretty pleased with his performance. Made a sweet TD catch, had a clutch 3rd down conversion, showed an amazing burst of speed on the opening kickoff return. Overall, I give him a solid B. 

The defense last night was circa 2002. Hard to watch. Let's pray we "get that fixed." Haden can't get back soon enough.

One other point...

We lost the turnover battle 3-0. Rare to win when you do that. I'll take it, but I definitely preferred the ball-hawking defense that took the field vs. the Titans over what I saw last night.

Nix has only 10 snaps in 2 weeks.

McDonald has zero snaps in 2 weeks via injury.

They've scored 71 points in 8 quarters since.

Not a coincidence.

Just leave the talent on the field. Ben and the skill will take care of the rest.
