yeah it is.  I am so sorry he's done playing football.  He was really fun to watch.  Hopefully he'll be able to recover enough to lead a productive life.  Good luck Ryan.
Just hoping for the best for #50. The Steelers are a class organization, probably the best. They will take care of Ryan for life.

Thanks for posting the link.
Shazier wants to game plan from his hospital bed. Even though his playing days are over he wants to help. You gotta love this guy.

Ryan Shazier has feeling in his legs, per @WPXI.
Ryan Shazier making progress in recovery, father says

His father thinks he's going to play again

Ms. Sylvester from WPXI asked his Dad point blank if he thought #50 would play again and he said yes.

I have also noticed a much more upbeat, positive mood/attitude from Mr. Shazier on Twitter the last few days.

He said they would comment more once #50 was comfortable sharing his condition, but they obviously IMO have received some positive medical news over the past week based on the actions/words of Mr. Shazier on Twitter.

I just hope he never plays again.  Just to much at stake
My brother had the same injury... Once the rods go in the back > they do not come back out. As I would love for him to play again. Its almost impossible. JMO. He most likely will never play again.
