I just finished watching "A Football Life: Curtis Martin." Just wow. What an amazing story of overcoming your circumstances. I never really knew that much about Martin. I knew he single-handedly kicked Pittsburgh's @$$ in the '96 playoff game in the fog. As a result, I never liked him.
Probably the most moving, inspiring episode of "A Football Life" I've seen. What an outstanding example of how to treat people, of how to forgive. I was just blown away by the quality of the man. I had no idea.
Kudos to Curtis Martin. I'm now a fan for life.

He kicked our ass in 1995 also but we won that one.
What's sad is Johnny Majors obviously wanted him to stay at PITT, and to bolster that he had Tom Donahoe proclaim that he felt, that no one would DRAFT Martin if he left school early.
Which was laughable considering how he humiliated a good Texas team while at PITT.
Should have been a Steeler, but Donahoe's big mouth ended that.

Ah, yes... Tommy Two-Face. I was never a Tom Donahoe fan.

What a lying bastard he was. He actually told me they never re-worked Barry Fosters contract. They actually did it TWICE.
I also told him "Whatever you do, don't sign Dean Biasucci, he's terrible!"
They signed him, and he didn't even make it through camp before he was cut.
