1986 Steelers 31 at Browns 37 OT

The Browns sweep the Steelers for the first time since 1969 on Bernie Kosar's 36-yd bomb to Webster Slaughter in overtime. Mark Malone and Walter Abercrombie each run for 2 scores, but Kosar's 414 yds and 2 TDs are enough to overcome the Steelers in a thriller. A special thanks to Matthew Simon for generously providing us with this game!

I can't believe I'm the first to comment on this one. What a game! Even though the Steelers lost, this is the type of game that makes me proud to be a fan, and you don't see those too often today. You didn't see them back in the day as often as we'd like to think, either.

I don't usually request specific games, but I'd love to see the game from earlier that year in Pittsburgh if someone can scrounge it up. It won't exactly go till Tuesday the way Bob Trumpy wished, but four more quarters of these two teams would really hit the spot.

Matt Bahr's dive that ended the TRS Browns jinx. Asshole.

I know you're on a 2000s run, Tim, but I'd like to see the other two games you have ready from this year (Patriots and Seahawks), even though the Steelers are beaten by a combined 64-0. I'd also like to see the '88 Bills game you have ready; it was one of those games called by broadcasting legends brought in by NBC while their main announcers were at the Seoul Summer Olympics. The legends in this case were Curt Gowdy and Al DeRogatis. Curt also called the '88 Redskins game with Merlin Olsen, should you ever get your hands on it.

At some point, I'll get those up. Right now, I want to finish 2005 and 2008 along with some other FUN wins from various other years. If I post a loss right now, it will either be to complete a season or because there's something interesting or uniquely significant about the game. An example would be the '98 Thanksgiving loss to Detroit because of the coin toss. That's a game that will go up as soon as I'm done with 2005.

I can only upload so many games a week, so ass-whippings like the ones you mentioned are WAAAAAAAAAAAY down on my list.  Pi_bigsmile

Okay. I just thought you might have forgotten that you have those games ready to go. They're games I've never seen before that I can remember, and I'm curious about them even though they're losses. I can see why you want to wait for them.

I can still hear Carnell Lake yelling at Phil Luckett: "He said TAILS!"
