I'm here. Watching the Browns with disinterest. LOL. Really having trouble getting into this year. So much going on in the NFL right now that sucks.

Hopefully, I can get into it a little tonight, but so far, I'm just not feelin' it at all. Not the least bit excited about the game tonight.

Very strange feeling this way.  Thumbdown

Tim,

Why are you letting your disgust with the NFL get in the way of your Steeler fandom? No one says you have to spend one second on anything non-Steeler related when it comes to football.

Also, I've often wondered why you attach your current Steeler fandom specifically to Ben. If you can't enjoy the rest of the Steelers anymore, don't watch the games. You can always look for Ben highlights on YouTube or some other video site. There's no reason for you to waste your time doing something that your heart isn't in anymore. Watch a movie with your wife or cartoons with your grandchild instead.

Um... thanks for the suggestions, but here's an idea: How 'bout I do whatever the f--- I want to do?  Pi_lightbulb

If that's okay with you, of course.  Wavehello

Okay, but stop the lousy goddamn sniveling about how much the NFL sucks. No one likes whining, especially from a two-faced hypocrite who runs a so-called "fansite" (the most negative one I've ever seen, by the way) dedicated to a team that plays in a league he supposedly hates.

While you're at it, buddy, enough with the childish dash-dash-dash routine. The word is "fuck". That's F-U-C-K. If you're going to use such language, at least be proud of it.

Give me a snippy answer to an innocent post, and this is what you get.

Garrett; Welcome back - can't say I've missed your....insightful....posts. I can't understand why you keep coming back, however, I applaud your dedicated efforts to get banned.

I hope you're successful.

You must love my sniveling, because you're constantly here.  Laugh

The current NFL blows. A once-great game is being ruined by stupid rules, political correctness, virtue-signaling via pandering to nonsense like kneeling for the National Anthem.

I've been pretty clear: I LOVE the old NFL and I think the current NFL blows in comparison. Where's the hypocrisy, tough guy?

The illegal pick is obviously legal in Foxboro. I nearly forgot, there are two rule books.

Good to hold them to 3. Thankfully, Brady has been off-target a few times. Good to know even HE is susceptible to a little preseason rust.

Ok, Pittsburgh came out with a good defensive gameplan, but the Pat's are countering it.  It's like a game of 'hot read', and it's negating any pressure.  The few plays the Pats are missing is when 1) there's a hint of pressure on Brady (3rd down overthrows), or the hot read is covered.     the quick release + 2x teaming Watt is successful.

I've no idea what we're doing on offense yet

It's a shame we fell prey to the trick plays. They're getting away with a lot of picks, as usual. I agree, the defensive game plan isn't bad and so far, our defense, despite the youthful mistakes, seems to have more going on than our offense, which clearly hasn't shown up yet.

Like THAT play. 3-man rush and there was a little pressure. Brady missed the throw. Butler needs to get imaginative to get fast, unconventional pressure.

Now we got the ball back - Ben needs to toss a deep ball to get 7 off the line. All the Pat LB's are within 5 yards

Agreed. The offensive play calling has no imagination and no threat so far. Vanilla. Dink & dunk. Conservative.

Yuck.
