Is hearing about your former rivals success...

Golden Boy Tom Brady and the Bucs evidently will be going to the NFC Championship game. Didn't watch the game so no insights there. Had I watched the game I can guarantee insights would have been limited at best. Going out on a limb here but I'm going to blame NFL NY Collusion! It's all rigged!

Nah.. I'm kidding. It's just miserable watching (meh hearing about) TB12 lead another charge toward lifting the Lombardi. Just retire already Tom let the other kids play! TB12 is just selfish!

I totally understand what you mean, Barney. But honestly, with Brady in the NFC, I kinda want to see him succeed. To me, it proves that it was more BRADY than Belichick who was responsible to New England's success all these years. @$$hole Belichick gets waaaaay to much credit as a great coach simply because he lucked into Tom Brady when Bledsoe got hurt.

The Bucs have had 3 straight losing seasons, and here comes Brady -- even well past his prime -- and they're heading to the NFC Championship game.

Meanwhile, Belichick's Past were losers without Brady.

So I'm kinda okay with it.  Thumbsup

I see... unsatisfied with being infinitely smarter than me... you have to go a be a bigger person to boot! We'll I'm just going to sulk in the corner over here and figure out which of the remaining teams I hate the least.

Glad the board's back also!

If hating Belichick more than Brady makes me a smarter, bigger person... then YES!!!  Pi_bigsmile

BA, Brady, AB, Byron Leftwhich, and Ross Cockrell on the Bucs! I wouldn’t mind see them doing it.

However beating the Pack is a tall order.

Aaron Rogers is one of the few players I like less than Tom Brady, soooooo... go, Bucs.  Laugh

But ultimately, I don't give a rat's ass. F--- the NFL.   Censored

If Brady lifts a Lombardi next month - he's the undisputed GOAT: HOWEVER, I *cannot* see AB get a ring.

Personally, I'm standing behind the Bills.   (Boy, I Love Loosing Superbowls, I know - but GO HERD!!)

Yeah, I forgot AB was with TB. Therefore, as mentioned in another thread... go, Pack, go!

Ernie Adams is the real genius, not Belichick. Goggle him. Those to have been together since their college days. Belichick followed him to the Giants, the Browns and the Patriots.

Two super bowls with the Giants don’t count? The Cleveland had a couple of good years, before Model reverted to form.

I’ll grant you Brady was a great fit, and was responsible for the what you all call dink and dunk offense,  a few of the Patriot  defenses before Brady and through 2004 were pretty stinking good.

And before I forget, the  dink and dunk what the Patriots did provided consistent  sequential rates of return. Think of all those short passes to Walker and Edelman staying a head of the chains. Brady was a master at it. That said, where did that idea come from? It wasn’t Weis (he didn’t run it at Notre Dame), McDaniels just picked up the plan. Brady didn’t learn it at Michigan, and Belichick sure didn’t run it a Cleveland. IMO, that smack of Adams.

Ernie Adams wasn't with the Giants when they won their Super Bowls, Dave.  Thumbsup

Ok, Adams wasn’t with the Giants, but the part of sequential rates of return and how it related to the Patriot offense, as a Wall Street wizard, Adams was key in the development of that offense. As a financial adviser, I get it. I know what negative returns do to a portfolio.

I guess I’ll have to check it out then. Hope all is well John. Take care.
