There's one play in the vat... and it's a draw.

Look at the bungles all screwing up. You do not unleash hell with a series of 10-yd-+ passes.

They get a FG - we'll be exceptionally challenged.
They get a TD - it's over.

Down 34-23. Let's run a flanker screen or a draw.  Eyes

I don't mean to be premature... but I've already seen enough of Kenny Pickett. He's backup material, nothing more.

I hope we don't waste years trying to develop him as the starter. It's not going to happen.

It would be nice to get a block here...

But wishful thinking. 37-23.

Strongly agree!  We’re gonna have the draft position to take a legitimate franchise QB, very much hoping they don’t blow it thinking Pickett can be the answer

It's almost worth it to FINALLY put to bed the "Tomlin has never had a losing season" mantra as if it somehow overcomes a decade of underachievement with a Hall of Fame QB under center and several years of some of the greatest offensive firepower ever assembled on one team.

These announcers. I don't really give a $#!t what Pickett does in garbage time. He's fine when there's no pressure. But when it matters, he's already shown a propensity to wilt.

In general - if you kick on-sides - you're supposed to go after the ball, right?

He was supposed to.  It kept falling off the uniform.  Nothing stuck to him.

Good 'ol Limus Sweed:

Grand Total of 7 catches, in his career - for 69 total career yards

.....and 1 Super Bowl ring - which I'm sure he dropped.

That's true, but 2004 was one helluva year for QBs (Ben, Eli, Rivers). Not sure how QBs shape up in the upcoming draft.

Agreed… I just sincerely hope they’re open (very) to taking one if the right guy happens to be there…
