These guys have a limited window -- especially running backs -- and it could all dry up in an instant. I'd hate to see him sit out... but I also understand his point of view because he has PROVEN his worth. |

The Steelers will not give him his $18 mil... maybe 12 or 14 (Which he won't take... Im guessing they would do a sign and trade? Not that Bell would agree.

I'd trade him to Cleveland. They have loads of cap space and draft choices that could strengthen the team. If he only wants cash let him get it up at the lake.

To Cleveland for a first and second round? I dont want him in the AFC if this even happens. I'd say Washington
or trade him to New England for Harrison... > Jk ![]()

I could see teams doing a 3 person trade plus some picks. And teams with deep pockets may want him. Washington, Cleveland and other teams have been dumb enough to give players high dollar pay days.
I'm not saying its smart, I'm just saying some teams are dumb enough to give up a lot. Bell is a great player. But for someone that hasn't played full seasons and always seems to be hurt. This may be his first healthy, (Non suspend-able), full season.

On any given play he career could end. I'd try and sign him for 3 - 4 years, 15 million each. He is the most complete back in the NFL, 3 downs. Running, receiving, and is great at blocking and picking up the blitz. Truth be told we don't have another NFL grade starting RB on the roster. His suspension was dialed back 1 notch and it appears he has kept clean. Even if he were life suspended for a cannibus, his salary is a hit against the cap. ![]() ![]() Next - Minkah, #39! ![]() |
