No exaggeration, other than when I was stationed overseas or out camping or such, I have pretty much visited M&W 7 days a week morning and evening and that includes the recent dead period as well.

This is a totally different board, steelersfan, so nothing from there works here. Sorry, but I hated that format and even worse, none of the files were under my control (only Pastrami had access to them). Was your username at the old boards "steelersfan"? If so, I can go back and get your post count.

Not sure what happened to Pastrami. I totally "checked out" of the board a few years ago, but from what I've heard, some regulars turned on him and got really relentless and personal with their attacks. Not cool, for any reason. Too bad, because he was a helpful guy and a strong contributor.

Well, as we go through this reset, I'd like everyone to please keep in mind that it's not our place to "expose" other people here, Hoos. There will be a much shorter leash on that kind of nonsense than in the past. If people wanna talk trash, they can go back to the "members only" FB page and do it there (although you guys should know it's not nearly as "private" as some of you think it is; word travels fast when you back stab folks that are supposed to be your friends). Pastrami probably wasn't the right guy to have moderate; I didn't realize there was such bad blood between folks when I made that move, so I'll take responsibility for that. But the way it escalated and the awful things that were said about him and his family went too far. WAY too far. Nobody deserves that. 

In any case, it won't fly here. I don't mean to finger wag, but it's always bothered me the way the "family" environment that we had here (most of the time) for a good 15 years suddenly deteriorated so badly. I won't let that happen again. 

Just putting it out there so there are no surprises moving forward.

The FB page we started is actually a great spot ... 5 years and running now (wow time flies) and it's a core group of about 30 posters ... Most of them are hardcore fans, and while it's entirely "sophomoric" in it's tone, everybody gets along there and everybody rips on everyone in a friendly and acceptable way ... It would be really great if some of those folks who have never experienced this forum before would sign up and join here too ...
