Anyone have the latest news on Ryan Shazier. They showed him during the Cleveland game, looked like his spirits were up. I couldn't tell if he was sitting or standing. 

Any news on his recovering and prognosis?

Great news, I hope he regains the ability to walk and has a fantastic quality of life.

This may be a stupid question....is there any chance he may play again?

They asked his father this week if he thought he would play again and he said YES!

So they are at least hopeful. I still maintain that because of his improving upbeat social media attitude and the Twitter comments this week by Mr. Shazier, that #50 is doing much better than we realize, for now.

I read Mr. Shazier's comments and I saw he said "Shalieve" when asked if Ryan would try and play again. That's more of a confidence booster than a ringing endorsement.

With 2 rods permanently inserted by his spine I seriously doubt any doctor or even the NFL would ever clear him to play again.

I think it was more of an attempt to keep Ryan's spirits up than anything else.

As long as he walks again and is able to live a normal life, I'm happy. I thank God for the progress he's made.
