Here's where some of the leading mock drafts have the Steelers going
1) Lamar Jackson, Quarterback, Louisville (http://walterfootball.com/draft2018_1.php) (Um, didn't we draft Dobbs last year?) 2) Malik Jefferson, LB, Texas (https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news...r-jackson/) (I agree with the assessment here: With some coaching, he'd be a beast. He was the Longhorns best player for the last three years and there are many tears in Austin that he didn't come back for his Sr. season) 3) Ronnie Harrison, S, Alabama (https://www.sbnation.com/nfl-mock-draft/...sen-giants) (Don't know too much about him, however the scouting reports look really good) 4) RB Ronald Jones II, USC (http://bleacherreport.com/articles/27538...itle-games) (I'd be shocked if they did this) |

I just threw up a little in my mouth.
I see no way around an ILB in the 1st and possibly the 3rd rounds, sandwiching a safety. My way too early predictions would be: 1a) Roquan Smith, ILB, Georgia - Did well in the playoffs -his stock is rising 1B) Rashaan Evans, ILB, Alabama (Walter's have him going high in the 2nd round, if he's there when we pick we have to select him). 2.) Marcus Allen - S - Penn State 3.) Terrell Edmunds - LB/SS - VT Next - Minkah, #39! ![]() |

I agree completely. The team is built around it's LB's - we win or lose because of them, and well, in this case......

Drafts are not an exact science, you never know who'll drop to you. I will say this, Cowher traded up and went after Troy. How'd that work out?
Probably not going to happen anytime soon, I think we have already traded a few of our draft picks away. Sadly we have none to spare. Next - Minkah, #39! ![]() |
