Round 2 - JuJu Smith-Schuster. The kid won't be 21 until November. The kid turns 50/50 jumps balls into 80/20 jump balls. The kid brings a love and compassion for the game this locker-room desperately needs. He is a 20-year old that brings savvy, guts, and leadership, all this this team sorely needs. The kid loves the game, will play in pain (played with a broken hand 5 days after a metal plate and screw was inserted into his hand and had 8 catches for a 132 yards (including a 72-yard scoring strike). The kid has the pedigree of Lynn Swann and the heart and toughness of Hines Ward (watch the hit on the last video clip on the link below).

Wasted pick at WR position, give me a break, look at our WR corp production in the playoffs last year and you still wonder why Ben was frustrated and contemplating retirement:

Brown - 18 catches, 309 yards, 2 TDs
Rogers - 13 catches, 112 yards, 0 TD
Hamilton - 4 catches, 51 yards, 1 TD
Ayers - 3 catches, 27 yards, 0 TD
Coates - 2 catches, 34 yards, 0 TD
Heyward-Bey - 1 catch, 10 yards, 0 TD

Very excited about Juju. This kid has an electricity about him. Hard to beat his physical numbers as well. 6'1, 215 with nearly 33" arms and 10.5" hands. DAMN. Comparisons to A. Boldin. Rarely goes down on first contact. A poor's man Dez Bryant. Don't care that he "only" runs a 4.50 40, he has heart and game speed.

T.J. Watt will be OK (and a fan favorite Bryan Hinkle type player)  and make us all forget about Jarvis Jones (who), but truth be told if Watt's name was Joe Smith he would have been a 3rd round selection. Watt may pan out, don't get me wrong, but taking him is a huge gamble at #1 with his injuries and total body of work being 10-games in the Big 10.

DS, I'm inclined to agree with you here. Great point about the group's production. Rather anemic, considering AB had to long TD receptions in the Dolphins game. Back that out, and it's no wonder why we folded vs the Patriots. For those of us that feel that this was the most compelling failure in that loss, this kid is great news.

It's a great pick. Now we have to hope that this pick, along with Bryant back, will stop our idiot OC from doing his BS tricks and recess formations.

Reminds me of a Rodney Dangerfield riff: "I tell i don't get no respect, I take my wife to a fancy joint for vacation. I said to the bell boy, ' Hey grab my bag'. He grabs my wife!!!"

Rodney, "My wife, she likes to talk when she's making love.  Friday night she called me from the Holiday In!"  Baad-A-Bing!

Ok, this thing has definitely lasted more than four hours.  Time to see your physician.  And if you need a ride, be more than happy to pick you up.

JuJu wasn't drafted to be the #2 receiver (he will be for a while). Ladies and gentlemen this kid is only 20 years old (A-B is 27 or 28) and in 4 years he will be a ripe old seasoned vet at 24 years old. This is our future #1 receiver. This is a great pick and watching that clip is has a bit of Hines in him. Goondell is already writing the fines for his play.

Hadn't thought of that time wise. Good point. Sometimes you think these guys are going to be around forever.

I wish I could attend, I hear the groping is worth the trip.

I think JuJu is a future star.
