Debo is the man. Love the guy. Love him. I will truly miss watching him play. Wish it would've ended differently in Pittsburgh.

He was as good or better than anyone else we had at rushing the passer. Something else was going on here. Hope he has nothing to do with the steelers going forward

Hope he has nothing to do with the steelers going forward I've often wondered what Joey Porter's role in it was. Just thinking of those two personalities, you have to wonder if there was some personal conflict? I'm basing this theory on absolutely nothing based in fact; just wondering out loud. The first thing Tomlin did when he came to Pittsburgh was jettison Porter. In my view, Tomlin wanted to make sure that locker room was HIS and that he didn't have to battle Joey for it. Somewhat ironic that Joey ultimately came back as a coach. But I can envision Joey and Debo butting heads, for sure. There's video on YouTube of James intimidating assistant coaches with Cincinnati and then doing what he wants, despite what they are telling him. ![]() |

Good news is we have the same exact defensive coaches coming back next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

The way he was handled (mishandled) still mystifies me, although if he was being an ass in the locker room and had lost the respect of his teammates, that does matter. |

I truly believe that Harrison who was so combative with Goodell was thereafter hobbled by the officials allowing him to be obviously held and horse collared by opponents all the frickin' time with virtually no flags ever thrown. You could see his effectiveness decline as this occurred. Was there ever a hold called against him in his later years? I figured when he went to the Pats he would have had the curse removed. He was way better than the Commissioner allowed him to be.
