Wow, if this is true. Marcanabus Bryant should be done in the NFL. Sad...

But also - not sure how credible this story is.

Just saw that. So for the pick we received for Marcanibus Bryant we may have landed our franchise QB for the next 10-15 years.

Well done Colbert & Co.

Unless Ben plays for another 10 - 15 years we don't have a franchise QB other than him.

Would rank up there with the Bettis trade if Rudolph replaces the retired Ben and wins a ring.

BTW, saw recent pics of Ben, he's trim and ready to go.

i am looking forward to seeing Ben work with Randy.  Would really like to see him flourish now.  As for Rudolph we'll see.  I"m not buying into the hype right now on him.  There are reasons he was still there in round 3.

I agree... Trust in Ben for the next 3 years. Worry about what happens after. We have a ring to go after. Keep in mind, Some of the Steelers top offensive players have been healthy with no major season ending injurys. We've been lucky which
pisses me off because our defense should have been built better over the last 5 years for a superbowl run.  JMHO   wasted time.

Bryant's suspension -- if these rumors are true -- would certainly be no surprise. It would make the Steelers' move to trade him look pretty darn smart, too.

Still, it will be sad if it's happened, because it will be a career-ender. Three strikes and you're out and you hate to see anyone blow their golden opportunity in life that badly, even if they are a stinkin', cheatin', dirty P.O.S. Raider.

See I don't see it that way Tim.  It's not sad. It's the result of a guy being given every chance in the world and still can't make the most of those chances.  I don't think it's going to happen though.  Why would they be waiting?  Is there a timeline?  So I'm not sure this is even real

That's precisely what I think is sad, rollers. I'm not absolving him of responsibility and if he gets drummed out based on his behavior, he deserves what he gets. But I still think it's sad when talented, capable people squander opportunities for stupid reasons (i.e., so they can smoke a little weed). It's difficult to understand.
