Hey Pen fans. I've been following the playoff from a far and have heard there are more than a few injuries. There are zero updates that I can find. My main concer is Crosby and his concussion. What's the latest. I sure hope he isn't our for the playoffs or worse. The last one took him a while to recover. Please advise. Thanks.

They need to wrap up the Caps series by winning the next game. Might offer some added down time for Crosby to recover. Injuries are part of every sport and season. The Pens have had more than most this year but have found a way, so far, to overcome them.

It's sad that the best player in the league, or at worst one of the top 3, has missed so many games. He will get his HOF recognition none the less. Well deserved in my view.

Well, the Caps have been throwing everything but the kitchen sink at the Pens, mugging and thugging along the way but to no avail. I would not be surprised if the Caps installed a 50 cal. to take care of the last of the Penguins standing. Agreed the break offered by a next game victory would be useful. I wish there was a published prognosis on Crosby but based on his history, it can't be good.

Series tied 3-3. Deciding game is today, wasn't the Pens up 3-1?

I don't like 'ockey, as my Canadian friends call it.

I have a hard time watching it on TV, especially in the playoffs. I get too emotional which is not good because of the pace and ebb and flow of the game.

Well, we survived a tough series against a tough bunch of hombres. Hats off to the Caps for a great series. Kudos for the "Flower" for showing up big time in game 7. 29 saves!

That's NOTHING compared to what he did to the Joker.

Hot news! The Pens tie the series with Ottawa.

In other news, Lake says that they would have won the first game if Sullivan hadn't run the skates off of Crosby in the series with the Capitals. " He has no clue how to manage the lines." Even though, the Pens won the Stanley Cup last year, Lake is still not impressed as he did it someone else's players. "I'm not impressed at all!" he states emphatically.

Pens tie the series TWICE.

The Sens are a bunch of dirty bastards. I guess if they can't beat you on the ice, they are going to try and beat you to get you off of it.

Ryan would get at least two games if this was November.
