It leads me to wonder what else is out there that we don't know about. The Immaculate Reception full game is too much to hope for, but maybe the '74 or '75 Divisional Playoff games are around, or possibly the games in Cincinnati from '78 and '79.()Okay, the '79 game was a brutal loss, but I'd still like to see for myself just how bad it was.)

We KNOW the Immaculate Reception game still exists. It just hasn't made its way out of NBC yet. It eventually will. I think footage of all the missing playoff games probably exists. The regular season stuff (Cinci games) from '78 & '79 are unlikely. I've heard that the actual original reels were destroyed, but perhaps it's not true? And even if it IS true, perhaps there are still VHS or BETA tapes out there that will turn up? Never say never.

I'm just so happy this game turned up. Of all the missing games, this '76 Steelers/Colts game was the one I coveted the most.

There are some more interesting finds that have become available in just the last few days. The 1976 games against both the Dolphins and Oilers in Pittsburgh are available at least in part, as is the '77 season opener against the Niners that marked Dandy Don Meredith's return to Monday Night Football. The '76 snow game against the Bengals at Riverfront looks to be available almost in full as well.

These games are up on YouTube right now, so they should be in circulation fairly soon.
