Steelers 38 KC 35 IN GAME WITH NO DEFENSE > As per normal Tomlin standard. 8 years of trying real hard to come up with a superbowl winning defense? Nope!

Ben shakes off his elbow problems and throws for 350, plus another hundred-yard day for Conner. Mahomes plays well too, throwing at least one long touchdown against the Steeler secondary, but it's not enough.

Steelers 27, Chiefs 21

Defense played MUCH better against Cleveland.  Watt was a beast.  Doesn't matter it was against Cleveland that guy played well.  Even Dupree looked better on the rush except he runs past the QB way to much.  I don't think KC gets 35.

So both starting corners could be out. Ben is hurt. This may be one of those seasons that it's going to take a late run to get to the playoffs. DeCastro is out with broken hand. Didn't take long to rack up some pretty important injuries. NFL just seems to get harder on a person's body. Some key folks down for this game

If both starting corners are out, then Yes they will hang 35 on us, like every team. Our pass defense has been the worst. Ben should be fine. Full practice on Friday.
I hope they have a better game plan to dump the ball to Conners  after the check downs. They did this with Bell all last year and kept Ben upright from holding the ball to long.

well we'll see.  New QB should help us out a little.  We never make a horrible QB look good.

I must tell you... until about 20 minutes ago, I completely forgot today was even game day. No exaggeration. Didn't think about it this morning and it didn't even enter my mind until I realized it was a little past noon and I was like, "Oh, yeah... the Steelers play in a little bit."

It's hard to believe.

The NFL has ruined what used to be a truly great game with their anthem kneeling, stupid rule changes, etc. It's just not that fun anymore.

I DVR'd it and went to the park with the family, got home and watched it and I just don't get all worked up like I did pre-2005.
I was laughing at times tday with all those penalties which is the #1 issue for me, there is zero flow to the game and it games now last 4 and 4-1/2 hours, that's too long imo.
It aint like it used to be.
