This guy proposes the Packs trade a #1 pick - or two - to the Steelers for Bell.

Bell hasn't signed his franchise tag contract. I dont think they can trade him within those guidlines. Bell could sit the whole season and miss 14 mil

I could be wrong, But I thought on a second and final tag he could sit the whole season and only the first tag he would have to play the season or it continues to the next?

He can't be traded until he signs. If he doesn't sign by week 10 the Steelers can tag him again next season. Either way he must sign and be available for 6 games or he stays in limbo.

So the steelers are going to pay hime 14.5 Mil for 6 games? They should rescind the offer to 7 mill by week 9. This is bad.

LOL no - that'd be sweet though.  It prorates to about $860,000 per game.  He's already lost his week 1 paycheck

He is losing $870 million a week. The poor dumb bastard has taken horrible advice from his agent. He has already lost more money than he can ever make up. The contract the Steelers offered was for $16.5 million a year for 2 years, then I forget what after that. The best now he can hope for is about 12 million this year, if he signs soon. He's already lost over 4.5 million this year and who knows what in the future.

What a fool.
