It's not about the steel curtain. Never has been. It's about playing simply competent defense. That's all. Not being embarrassed by a QB throwing balloons up and our DB hugging his waist while he goes up for the ball. It's about Artie Burns just once not getting toasted continually. Or how about not having your rush linebacker covering a speed receiver one on one down the middle of the field. I'd settle for that

With the offense we have, this Team doesn't need a super good defense. Just good decent defense to hold a team to 20 points...

Keep in mind the past 2 weeks this secondary faced the 2 hottest QBs in the league right now.

Let's see a larger body of work before we paint it with a broad brush (my best Tomlin impersonation). Obviously.

I think Mahones set a 3-game record for TD passes in leagues history. Think about that and how many great QBs there have been.

It's a different game right now, pinball style. I'd draft all offensive players in the first 3 rounds here on out.
