After outdueling Fitzpatrick on Monday night, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week. Big Ben returned to form in Pittsburgh's first win of the season over Tampa Bay, completing 79 percent of his passes and throwing for 353 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Roethlisberger led four first-half scoring drives in the 30-27 victory. This is Big Ben's 16th such honor

What sludge?

Offense only had the ball once after almost 19 minutes of the 2nd half were played.

you seem to react to every single criticism of Ben.  Two weeks in a row we didn't do a thing on offense in the second half.  The browns game comes to mind as a failure of the offense as well.  It's both sides of the ball.  not just defense.  Ben is the best QB we've ever had and he's lacking weapons.  I will point out he's got some pretty good receivers.  Schuster, AB, McDonald, James, Washington.  That group is not without skill.  He throws a pick into triple coverage last night.  That's on him. He's the guy we look to lead this team.  So coaching is an issue, preparation is an issue and execution is an issue.  Now you can rip me all you want for daring to criticize Ben.

When the offense is on the sidelines because your defense can't get off the field? I'm not blaming the offense.

Just like last night, the crocodile tears are flowing for the defense again because the offense had a bad 2nd half and the defense "got tired".

But no one has the balls to mention that once again, the defense gave up a touchdown on the first series of the game, and this week, it happened BEFORE the offense saw one blade of grass.

Ben's not the leader of this team. This team doesn't value Ben as a player.

Bell ain't here, RB depth sucks.

Bryant ain't here, WR depth sucks after AB and JuJu.

They've picked 9 defensive players in the first round out of 12 Mike Tomlin drafts.

Villanueva sucks at LT, but he stood for the Anthem so he gets a free pass.

This offensive system sucks, and it did WITH Bell and Bryant here.

All we do now is run the same system, with less talent in it.
