Traded up to get LB Bush - Michigan
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/devin-bush...cf13caa3d4 No idea what we gave up for him yet. I felt good about it - for about 15 seconds until I saw Mr Bling stand up. (big breath) He's already dressed like a peacock. Let's see what giving this kid #10 pick money does. |

According to NFL we gave up pick #52 and a third rounder in 2020. Now can you quit fretting grandma and get back to your knitting? That shawl won't knit itself.

The Steelers acquired the 10th pick from the Denver Broncos and chose Michigan linebacker Devin Bush. In exchange for the 10th selection, Denver received Pittsburgh's 2019 first- and second-round picks (Nos. 20 and 52) and a 2020 third-round pick.
A #1 - #2 and a 3rd rounder is a bit steep. Especially when it looks like a top CB or WR would be there. I'd also tell you where you can shove your dumbass grandma remark - but I'm a gentleman.

I'm totally good with it. Filled biggest need with highly productive power 5 athlete. I was worried Colbert spent all of tomorrow to do it.

This team needs to draft for talent but also for character. They should have learned a painful lesson dealing with Brown and Bell. That set a poor example for the franchise and maybe created an issue for the league overall. If they did their homework they took a step to address both. They got both when they traded up for Troy. Fans should hope they did so again.
I have not followed Michigan or Big 10 football since I left Michigan in 2001. I plan, however, to get some insight from people who still reside in the area and are Michigan season ticket holders. My only other comment is the lad hopefully will show the flash on the field and not just in his outfit. First impressions count in my book. I tend to look at a peacock dresser as being more self centered and less team oriented. We had enough of that with the departing divas. |

I like the pick - a lot. Great character, high motor, great pedigree. His Dad (Sr.) also played in the NFL.
We still have 8 picks left, maybe they bundle a few and move back into the 2nd round. We'll also get a #3 for Bell next year so that's a wash. Of course there were a ton of great players on the board at #10, but this is the guy they have wanted for quite a while. So we have Barron and Bush on the inside and Nelson across from Haden. The defense looks markedly better than the end of last season. Now let's get a CB and WR on day 2 and our TE on day 3. Interesting to see Hocekenson go to Detroit, tippy toes James will be riding the pine again, albeit with a little better bank account. Next - Minkah, #39! ![]()

FINALLY - Signs of a Front Office/Head Coach that that have awoken from their slumber and realized that it is OK to change with the times and actually make bold moves to improve their team. If Bush can be an immediate contributor in Ben's last remaining seasons it bodes well for long-term success.
"My only other comment is the lad hopefully will show the flash on the field and not just in his outfit. First impressions count in my book. I tend to look at a peacock dresser as being more self centered and less team oriented. We had enough of that with the departing divas." I too had this same thought when I saw him. If it looks like a peacock. And it dresses like a peacock..... Hopefully he is just a flashy dresser and not a, "where's the camera" diva like the two departed a-holes and I fear the remaining Ju-Ju Prancer. This team clearly needs no more self-centered camera whores. The unfortunate reality is that the Tomlin era has encouraged such behavior and not confronted it - at least up to this point. I wish Bush the best. I like this move and the way it transpired. "Just give me a six-pack and 30 minutes to rest and lets go out and play 'em again!" - Jack Lambert |

I was flying home last night so I missed our round 1 pick. I googled it this morning and when I saw his outfit I thought he was in a sling. Glad he wasn't.

Thought AB right away, but after seeing this video my opinion of his character changed. He comes from a good loving family and that foundation seems set in him. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-draft/0ap3...raft-night |

I like the looks of this Gentry kid. This is a big upgrade over James.
