Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers had never traded into the top 10 in franchise history, which tells you just how in they were on Michigan linebacker Devin Bush, the undersized but powerful and versatile defender who looks like an immediate Ryan Shazier replacement. And given Kevin Colbert's long-established gift for turning mid-round receivers out of the MAC into starting stars, you are officially on notice to take the third-round selection of Toledo's Diontae Johnson very seriously, as he has the speed and movement skills to at least start to fill the hole left by Antonio Brown. Pittsburgh also addressed a serious cornerback need with Michigan State cornerback Justin Layne, and upped their power running game with Kentucky's Benny Snell. After a tumultuous offseason, Colbert and his staff made several astute picks in the draft.

Grade: B+

Like Shazier was a hulk? Some of our best defenses ever were staffed with lighter weight ILBs
Lambert for one, Farrior, while heavier early on in his career, played most of his golden years in the 225 range. Height is also not not as much of a factor as is getting to the right position in time.

Time will tell, but I thinkthis kid can play.
