Legendary Green Bay QB Bart Starr has died at age 85. Winner of the two first Super Bowls and several NFL Championship games. Rip Bart!

RIP.

Never really got to see him play. I just did a quick search on YouTube and there are a few full games with Starr at QB. Have to check them out when time permits.

The game was different back then. Starr ran Lombardi’s offense, “we are going to run this sweep and you can’t stop it”, and passing the was just a way to keep defenses honest. Starr seemed to be almost Brady like in efficiency however.

It’s sad there aren’t many full game recording from the early years of the NFL. Don’t disbar me from here, but I would love to see some early 50s Cleveland Brown games. Modern football in its infancy.

I almost reported your post! I once heard a tall tell that the Cleveland Browns actually played Professional football well. It's like Sasquatch I'll believe it when I see it!
