Season Opener against the team we all love so much.

Never beaten Brady in Gillette Stadium (0-4 All Time), and they'll be dropping another championship banner.

Early test not only for the Defense, but the team as a whole. If things truly are different regarding the Steelers' team culture in 2019, this is good stepping stone to prove it. In the bright lights against their longtime nemesis. No more Gronk for the Pats, but they still have Brady, who has been money against the Steelers.

Patriots without their starting center and TEs. They are banged up but very, very dangerous. This is a tough draw for a young team as the Steelers.

Not sure how this one ends, what's your thoughts???

I have no feel for it whatsoever. Zero. Traditionally, we get our @$$es beaten there and preseason hasn't shown me enough to expect anything different this time. That's why they play the games, right?

A win would be great. But it's Tom Brady at home vs. the Steelers, so... glad I'm not placing any bets on the game, because I'd have to bet against us.

We are money in prime-time, there's that. Great chemistry on our team, they should have a chip on their shoulder with something to prove. Connor healthy, Washington looks great, Ben wants the 3rd Lombardi. Defense is young and fast. Probably our best corners we've had in quite a while. Baron is a hitter that has quite the motor. Bush - We'll see if he lives up to his advanced billing. Nelson will be tested early and often.

Can Ju-Ju step into the #1 role? WE HAVE TO ELIMANATE turnovers and cause a few on the defensive side.

Should be a barn-burner, but who knows?

14 to 14 at half time.... Cheaters field goal wins it. They are at home. > Steeler's 30. Cheaters 31. Steeler's blow goal line opportunity on stupid play calling, > settle for field goals. Same game, same coach.

Well, there have been 135 other teams that attempted and failed to beat Brady in Foxboro.
His lifetime record is 135 wins, 28 losses at home. We’re not the only ones.

I’m looking for a good contest of two teams flexing their muscles, finding out what works and what doesn’t. I’m certainly not going to pop a cork at a victory, nor am likely to tune out the rest of the season at a loss. It’s just the first  exam of 16 to qualify for the playoffs. Nothing more, nothing less.

Just got back from 2 weeks in Alaska.  Just in time for Dorian.  It was good to have a break from football as well as politics.  However, the season starts Sunday and I'll be back from Charleston to watch as much of it as I can.  There's no better game, even the Ravens, to hold my attention.  It's just hard to handle those late kickoffs.

My best option will/might be to record the game and watch the second half early on Monday.  Not thrilling but reasonable.  I hope Ben and the defense can get it done.  I also hope Tomlin does not pull another Tomlin and make an idiotic challenge or refuse to make the advised in game alterations.  The opposing coach is not likely to do that based on past history.

Go Steelers!

I guess I'm a little like Charlie Brown trusting Lucy to hold the football when it comes to the Steelers. I am going to take the Steelers over the Cheatriots***, score:

Steelers 35

Cheaters*** 24

The Cheats have recently lost 3 OL, including their center. Our defense has become young and fast, if we can get up the gut pressure on Shady Brady we will be fine.

Jack Splat would have taken care of him (with a little help from Ernie).

Unfortunately, if that hit happened today, he would have been suspended for 4 weeks by the NFL
