I sure hope he redeems himself. I think he could be the break out player

The thing is, that's what he was supposed to do THIS week: redeem himself. Instead, his stone hands turned the game in Seattle's favor.

My hope is that he received a pink slip the moment the clock hit 0:00.

I can see your logic with the pink slip. I would show him the door next week if he didnt step up as well.

He says he has a sprained finger, but if he was that bad off, the Steelers wouldn't have activated him.

I'm not sure if I'd cut him, but I'd make the fourth or fifth receiver for a while and start Washington. If he's that badly hurt, deactivate him for a few games.

So what exactly has Washington done? True he’ll rarely drop a ball, if he ever gets open. Seriously, it’s his time right here and right now. He needs to become the #2 WR.

JJSS, Washington, and Johnson.

I saw the Pats released Patterson earlier today. He looked pretty good for us last preseason. Maybe bring him in and kick the tires. He can catch, that's more than can be said about Moncrieff.

Quote:“I don’t know what to make of it,” coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday. “I know we haven’t been able to depend on him to this point. He’s got some challenges and we have some challenges moving forward.”

Asked whether Moncrief will get a chance to work through his challenges Sunday at San Francisco, Tomlin said, “We’ll see.”

Tomlin did say there will be a change in the distribution of snaps for the team’s wide receivers. Rookie Diontae Johnson, who played 27 snaps against Seattle, could be a recipient of any playing time that Moncrief loses. James Washington would become the starter opposite JuJu Smith-Schuster. He played 60 percent of the snaps against Seattle.

Tomlin's more clueless than I ever thought if he doesn't bench Moncrief in lieu of Washington. Especially with Rudolph and Washington's background.
