Great week-end for rivalry football. 

Just reading up on the rematch and the browns secondary is not 100%. I got a funny feeling the boys in Black and Gold are going to extract some revenge.

Mac & Wife, reporting for duty. My toes are still a little bit curled from the Buckeyes' ass-kicking of the Team Up North yesterday. 15th win in the last 16 games, and the only loss during that span was in 2011 when we had an interim coach (Luke Fickell) between Jim Tressel (who was 9-1 vs M*ch*gan) and Urban Meyer (who was 7-0 vs M*ch*gan). 

And now, young Ryan Day is 1-0.  Life is good. 

Oh, and the High School I went to (Mansfield Senior High) advanced to the State Championship on Friday night. So it's been a pretty darn good football weekend so far. 

Don't let me down, Steelers. Let's somehow, some way get a WIN over Cleveland today.

- #57 LB Jerrol Williams lead the team in sacks with 9 (had 4 in the Cleveland game)
- #27 FS Thomas Everett lead the team in interceptions with 4 (DB Richard Shelton had 3 that year - all vs Cleveland in the last game - the last, a pick-6 sealing the victory)

We need a STOP on this first drive. Big time. Cleveland has a pretty good track record of scoring on their opening drive this year, then going dormant. We need to stop them on this drive.

They reversed it. I still don't agree. I don't feel like he had control while both feet were on the ground. 

I feel the call of the field should've been upheld, whichever way they called it. Not enough evidence either way. Bad reversal.

I don't have a problem with keeping it simple early. If we CAN run, we SHOULD run. If we CAN'T run, we're going to lose unless we force turnovers.

Well... nothing on offense, once again. BUT... JaySam had a GREAT blitz pickup on that last play. Duck had all day to throw, just couldn't find anyone open.

Dumb false start penalty by Johnson killed it. A WR should NEVER get caught on a false start.

No problem with Duck so far. He's doing about what we expected, and the offense is very vanilla. Run, run, incomplete, punt, repeat.

I didn't hate Rudolph, either. It's just that neither of them are legitimate NFL starters.

I know. Neither has the offense. It's about what we expected, sadly. But we don't have a better option.
