Seemingly a lifetime between now and the draft, but here is my first take.

Not always the "sexy" pick, we need to draft O-lineman early and often this year.

1.) Creed Humphrey (Center), Oklahoma. Wyatt Davis (G) an alternate pick
2.) Jalen Mayfield, (OT), Michigan
3.) Hunter Long, (TE), Boston College
4a.) Kylin Hill, (RB), Mississippi State
4b.) Baron Brown, (ILB), Ohio State
6a.)Tedarrell Slaton, (NT), Florida State
6b.) Tre Nixon, (WR), UCF WR UAB
7a.) Quincy Roche, (OLB), Miami
7b.) Max Duffy, (P), Kentucky

That’s as good as any other mock drafts as I’ve seen. The only thing I’d hope for is somehow a serviceable QB drops in our laps  somehow between now and 2022

Thanks, I still have some adjusting to do. I've been watching the QB from Boston College for 2022. He' a "Burgh boy and has been compared by some to Ben. I don't think the 2021 draft is when we select a QB, perhaps 2022. By all indications Ben is coming back and we have to rebuild the O-line or won't matter who the QB is. A RB would also help.

Keep you eye on Phil Jurkvec, QB, Boston College.

Seems legit, Chuck.  Thumbsup The target positions seem logical, although I really don't know most of the players.

I am glad to read that Art 2 recognizes their is work to be done on the O-line. It’s a great draft to rebuild the line, lots of quality picks thru 3 rounds.

I would like to see them grab David Moore from Grambling State in the 2nd round. If they take a good tackle in the first and grab this kid in the second we could have two starters drafted for next year.

Agreed.  Whether we get one more Season Riding Into the Sunset or not, Big Ben's time is over.  I *hope* his heir is on the roster, buy all I see is Brister and Kordell.  Picking up a QB might not be a bad idea

Agreed.

Have a rock solid line and you can get a running game going and give time for a new QB to develop.

This is the season for Kevin Colbert to make a run at MVP.
