Claypool in bar fight

.     I don't have all the details yet but hearing Claypool was in some sort of a bar fight over the last 3 days. Not sure how the NFL is going to handle this but this looks like it's going to start his diva season off.

I saw the video. Big deal. Not much of a fight at all. Mostly pushing and shoving. If I've got millions on the line in my career I'm making better choices on where I spend my free time. But he's a young man. I was in bar fights when I was in the army. Those were fights. This is nothing.

I've never kicked someone in the face, but I was on the delivering (and receiving) ends of a couple of minor bar fights when I was my late teens/early 20's. Drunk and disorderly isn't the end of the world unless it's a pattern. Sometimes, you just get caught up in it when $#!t goes down.

I don't know that much about him. Is this kind of behavior a "thing" with him?  When I think of thugs, I think of Vontaze Burfict. Or off the field, Ray Rice and Aaron Hernandez. Johnny Manziel in dumber, douchier way. How 'bout Myles Garrett? Adam Pacman Jones? This list goes on and on, unfortunately. 

You could be right. I just haven't heard much about Claypool since I didn't really watch the Steelers last season. But my gut would be to put him more in the "diva" category vs. being a thug, which is a pretty harsh term IMO.

wow.  I think he's a good guy.  As has been pointed out to me repeatedly young people are different than when I was a young people.  These athletes like the attention but to call him a punk is just wrong.  You're entitled to your own opinion but I think it's way to harsh.  I like him and I liked the pick in the second round. So I guess we'll just disagree.  As to the kicking it's a bar fight not a Marquis of queensbury rule fight.  No one went to the hospital no one was hurt so it probably wasn't much of a kick.  I'm missing a tooth from a fight I had in the army.  THAT was a fight!

wow.  I think he's a good guy.  As has been pointed out to me repeatedly young people are different than when I was a young people.  These athletes like the attention but to call him a punk is just wrong.  You're entitled to your own opinion but I think it's way to harsh.  I like him and I liked the pick in the second round. I hope he matures for his sake. His youth and the money showered on him is a disaster waiting to happen. 

Just the games I saw him play this year and his actions certainly helped me form my opinion. I hope he does mature, he has the talent to be a great one. Time will tell, I hope I am wrong but I'm usually a good judge of character.

 Not to dump on the kid,  But watching how cocky he was last year with some of the defensive backs.  Their were a few and small  antics that a lot of people didn't catch on TV.  As the small little things add up I'm wondering if this kid is gonna be another Antonio attitude Wise.

I've given up on these clueless athletes having any modicum of self control  on the field.  I remember the old days when guys like the fun bunch did a little celebration in the endzone and that was fine.  One of the big running backs had a little dance he did when scoring but I am sick to death of these people acting the fool as a group and mugging for the camera.  It's a different generation.  I did see some replays of the season and I saw what he was doing.  Yes I don't like it.  But that doesn't make him any less of a great player to me.  They have different values than I do.  I haven't watches an NBA game in like 20 years.  Ever since Bird and Magic retired I am done with it.  I'm done with the nfl as well.  But I don't think CLaypool is any different than a hundred others of these players

I watched every game last year and I'm not sure what your problem with Claypool is. Trash talking, getting into faces and shoves against opponents are a part of the game and have been since day one of existence. 
He was a rookie lighting it up early on veteran dbacks who were on a mission to slow him down any way possible physically and mentally so not to be embarrassed by a rook. None of the guys covering him had the last name of Mother Theresa.
Claypool never took cheap shots or spit in anyone's face on the field. 

I guess with your good judge of character you thought Lambert, Greene and Dwight White, Lloyd etc. were douche bags also.   

Pick a different sport to root for like badminton. this one is to violent for you..... oh wait, maybe not badminton since the word "bad" is in it.
