A player that always gave his all, from whistle to whistle. A great 6-round pick that showed up to the combine with a Steelers logo already tattooed on his arm. We need more Vince Williams.

Yup!! Not an all time great, but we got the max out of all he had. Thanks VW!!!

Vince was also very solid against the run and a decent blitzer. Very durable as well, the injury bug stayed away. He probably signed back to retire a Steeler.

Not sure how well he can cover but according to Ray Fittipaldo, Melvin Ingram has ILB on his resume`:

"Ingram can play traditional outside linebacker, but he also can play inside as well. He was effective as a pass rusher from both areas with the Chargers."

I am all of the sudden very intrigued with the possibility of Ingram rotating inside and out.

Possibly why Vince retired.
