His antics have been distractions but this latest move smacks of pure stupidity. Why risk and injury acting like a kid? The boy is way too egotistic in my view and his commitment to the team seems sorely lacking. I don't know if they tried to trade him but I'd pull the plug before the rest of the league realizes he more of a liability than performer.

He's either dumb AF, or he has a clause in his contract covering him for non-football injuries. My money is on the former. ![]() I "get" that these are young men. They want to have fun with their friends, they have tons of money, and they're often immature. But kid... you have one shot at this. Risking millions of dollars for this stupid milk crate thing (which has already gotten WAY old) is as dumb as it gets. This seems to be the norm now. I don't see many Larry Fitzgerald's out there (and even Fitz had some demons). |

A classic example of youthful invincibility. Being totally honest, I was as guilty if not worse at his age.

But he has waaaaaaaay more to lose than I did. And I was behaving like that between 17-20. By 24, I pretty much had my shit together. |

What's the big deal? He's having fun. He's not smoking weed or beating up anyone. Yeah he's old enough to act a bit more mature. I had my shit together at 18. I turned 19 in Vietnam so that kind of ages you. let him have fun. I think a lot of us are more worried abut his injuries would impact the steelers. I wish I had had the time to grow up like he does.

Yes, that's literally the only thing I'm worried about here (i.e., how an injury would impact the Steelers). I have zero problem with the challenge itself. It's pretty funny actually, although I'm already tired of it. If you're not under contract for millions of dollars and risking hurting your entire team and organization, go ahead and have fun. Conquer those crates! But considering the increased possibility of injury, it's dumb AF. |

RE: Much to lose Well, for one, I had my musical career to lose…LOL!!! Seriously, by the time I was 24 I didn’t have 53 other guys depending on me acting like a responsible adult, but I had the good sense to marry my wife who definitely had her shit together, and the grace to let me grow out of it…44 years now and counting. LOL!!! |
