Well, here's a rarity... I'm rooting for the Browns today.
![]() ![]() If they win, Cinci and Cleveland will both be 5-4, and meaning the Steelers move into 2nd place if we can pull off a win vs. Chicago tomorrow night. So... go, Browns! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() P.S. -- So I can live with myself, I'm going to view this as rooting against Cinci vs. for Cleveland, because I have zero faith in the Browns' ability to get it done. |

Crazy that the bills, Raiders and Cinci lost. Had the Ratbirds lost that would of been a complete sweep of all the top teams this week.

I watched the Ravens game when the network made the transition. Paid close attention to AV at left tackle. I know a lot of fans thought he was done but, in this admitted limited exposure, he looked to have plenty in the tank and looked to be a better option than the LT types the Steelers are rolling out. Perhaps he's stunk the joint out in other games. I don't have any way to confirm any longer term impression.
I'll admit I was always a fan. I like high character players and he certainly fit the bill in my view. When he stood alone outside of the tunnel in Chicago to honor the flag and anthem he put a stamp on his commitment and character. |

They took an inspiring, momentum-shifting turnover and called plays like a team still feeling things out early in the 1st quarter. Two $#!tty runs, an errant pass on 3rd and long, and a punt. Game over. I think many coaches haven't yet adjusted to overtime being only 10 minutes long. I'm always stunned when teams don't play with urgency in OT, seemingly thinking they can get into a punting exchange. |
