Watched this debacle at a neighborhood party. The distractions almost made it endurable. Totally embarrassed on national TV. I can't remember the last time the network cut away from a Steeler game unless the imbalance favored Pittsburgh.
I don't understand going for the FG down 30-0 and then not following that up with an on sides kick. The shut out was avoided but you have to be in the game to win. Unless Tomlin is running the show. I guess the on sides would have been to much of a trick play and they had to save that action for the flea flicker and the insane sweep by Harris when they had 4th and short. I think a trained monkey could do a better job with tactics and play calling. Maybe that's what is in place. |

We had our family Christmas gathering Sunday afternoon/evening, so I mercifully missed this game.
Started watching the "highlights" and could even finish those. Embarrassing performance. This bears no resemblance to Steeler football. All I wanna do now is beat the Browns. If this is Ben's last hurrah (and I pray it's not), his amazing career can't end in a loss to Cleveland. |
