True, he just signed a mega-deal with the Browns sending 3 #1 draft picks plus 2 more draft picks to Houston.
Watson gets somethin like $243 million dollars guaranteed. The Browns is the Browns. Next - Minkah, #39! ![]() |

Absurd… great talent no doubt, but how many games they get out of him, 22 civil suits? Those could drag on for years. If just one of those cases comes in for the plaintif, Watson will be out for a while. More than one he could be done.

The risk reward ratio seems out of balance. I'd value the 3 firsts much more than a qb with his history. I think the browns saddled themselves with a contact and player that will not change their fortunes. Unless, of course, the boy leads them to more than one super bowl. Odds to do that are pretty long.

Yes, his last record at Houston was 4-12. Cleveland does have a great RB in Chubb and a decent TE. Their IOL is great and defense is shaping up. But these running QBs are not immune to injuries as the NFL hits take their toll. That is what I think your are starting to see with Lamarr Jackson. He was out the second half of last season and as he gets older and carries pile up more nagging injuries will occur.

Uh-oh! Looks like Cleveland is "tanking" again (with apologies to Hue Jackson)!
![]() Dude was overrated in Houston. I cannot -- CANNOT -- believe they gave him a fully guaranteed 5-year $230 million contract! ![]() What a clown show. They deserve every bad thing that happens to them. |

There is a report that a second grand jury in Texas may bring the case back against Watson.
When the Browns are involved you can’t make this stuff up. Next - Minkah, #39! ![]() |

If another grand jury is formed and they also decide punitive action will be taken the Browns may have set themselves up for a long term problem. I hate to see this happening to any city/franchise but they did their so called due diligence and deserve their fate.
After years of reading about "Rapelisberger" they deserve a heavy penalty. As it reads their violated more women. 4 games woudl be a sham. |

The second grand jury declined charges as well.
Watson’s first season salary with Cleveland is 1 million. That will lesson any sting of a suspension. Next - Minkah, #39! ![]() |
