Well, headed for 1-4 in humiliating fashion. I wonder what it will take for Tomlin to feel heat? Is it even possible?
I know it will be a litany of excuses, none of it holding the head coach accountable. |

I like Jaylen Warren. Ballsy pass by Pickett.

The good news is that Pittsburgh Dad has plenty of things to work with this week.

18 consecutive non-losing seasons because of BEN ROETHLISBERGER, not because of Mike Tomlin.
The streak started and ended with Big Ben's career. |

Ball hits Claypool in the hands for a first down on 4th and 10... and goes right through them.

How many drops had Pickett suffered today? Between Claypool and Johnson....

All in all I was impressed with Picket. Good pocket presence, seemed calm and in charge. Most passes were pretty crisp. Think he might be a keeper. Too bad he has to play under the crappy coaching staff.

I predict lean years (yes… plural…) until Tomlin is finally gone.

Rode over to the local to watch this debacle. Had 3 pints before half time and had to leave while I still had enough balance to bike home. The 3 pints helped ease the stink of the game. And it was a mighty stink for all Pgh fans who watched.
It's early but I don't see how this team will win more than 4 games. Regardless of the QB inserted by the wordsmith head coach. A 4-13 season might be the best thing that can happen. It might finally get Rooney to see that Ben was the reason for Tomlin's never had a losing season claim. I believe a full rebuild is needed. It might best be accomplished by letting the QB develop his skills at a good cap number, take the time to trade down in the next 2-3 drafts to try to fill the myriad of holes and find a head coach whom can build a quality staff to help the young hopeful studs that can come in the draft. Tomlin does not seem to fit the bill at the top and it's yet to be seen if the draft pattern can change drastically enough to implement a rebuild. After all the standard is the standard and Tomin along with Art JR have sunk the franchise to lows not seen in decades. I feel sad for our family in the burgh, I'll still watch because I need the diversion but I will do so with no expectations. It's more or less been that way since the last time the team won a game in the playoffs. The glory days of Noll and even Cowher are long gone. |

Hmmm. Tomin said he'd consider "Coaching changes".
Head Coach OC ......start with those two |
