Steelers trade Claypool to the Bears for a 2nd rounder in '23
Steelers trading WR Chase Claypool to Bears for 2023 second-round pick (nfl.com) Wow - This is a bit of a surprise, and solidifies what everyone knew: We're in complete rebuild-mode Time for Tigger to bring the "Can't keep my feet on the ground" act to Chicago. Pickens is going to be a big pickup for the fantasy guys. |

A good start but a rebuild should require another move or two. I would not keep 3 qb's. I'd listen to any offer for any player including Watt and Fitzpatrick. I'd be especially eager to move Heyward to a contender. Let him have a shot at a Lombardi. He sure isn't getting one in Pgh.
A couple of 3-4 win seasons and solid drafts are needed to even smell being competitive. |

Also reported Claypool had become a major locker room distraction. Maybe that was what Pickett was talking about after the last game.
Good riddance. Next - Minkah, #39! ![]() |

One more of the "Player's Coach's" Ego-Centered Waste Of Talents gone away. Maybe with a coach who will not tolerate ego before team he will develop to his potential. Time will tell I reckon. Meanwhile draft a stud Offensive Lineman with that number two pick.

Boykin has all the measurables (size, strength and speed) that Claypool has. Claypool won't be missed on the field.......great move by Omar. |

Agree 100%. Perhaps the first thing I've liked that the Steelers have done all year. ![]() |

Didn't watch the game but I read he had 2 catches for 13 yards 0 TD's on 6 targets.
Source NFL.com https://www.nfl.com/games/dolphins-at-bears-2022-reg-9 Sure does feel like a good trade to me. Poor Mapletron glad he's gone tbh. |
