1995 Steelers 24 vs Jaguars 7

In an effort to save the season after shockingly losing 4 of their last 5 games, Cowher makes wholesale changes on both sides of the ball, inserting new starters at 9 of 22 positions. It pays off as the Steelers dominate the expansion Jaguars (who had shocked Pittsburgh 20-16 just two games earlier). O'Donnell throws 2 TDs, Thigpen grabs 5 for 87 yds and a TD, Pegram rushes for 84 yds and a TD, and the "Slash" experiment begins for real with Kordell Stewart. Meanwhile, Carnell Lake's move from safety to CB in Pittsburgh's reconfigured defense proves successful as the Steelers completely shut down Jacksonville, sacking Brunell 7 times and not allowing the Jags to cross midfield until the 3rd quarter. The first win of Bill Cowher's new "9 game season."

Do not miss Greg Lloyd's hit on Brunell during Jacksonville's final drive. This was on the Steelers 1995 highlight tape... Today they may suspend #95! Game has changed for the worse

Thanks for posting this, love watching it

Hey Mac, don't see a thread for the first game on here and I don't know how you feel about putting out highlight reels of games you cannot find. But the week #6 loss to Jacksonville does have a rather comical ESPN Berman highlight reel that does provide a pretty good 2 minute 40 second synopsis of this game. You may be allowed to use it on here or you might not care to have just a highlight reel. Berman makes a rather comical comment about Steve Avery "coming out of the bullpen for Steelers" on one of their TDs. Had me rolling on the floor! Anyway, here is the link to the video if you want to use it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bjSvcNir04
