Had a few of these. Recovery time is not extensive unless an infection develops. He should still be in the hunt for a game day hat.

I really like Coates. I am just hoping that all his injuries and such are just a freak anomaly and that he can play with consistency.

Definitely not a guy I "trust" to make the catch, though. Good size and speed, big play ability... but too many drops for my liking. Personally, I prefer Eli Rogers. Totally different style of player, but reliable and a pretty solid possession receiver. |

He was fine when he was on the field regularly to start 2016. Then when he started being rotated for scrub tight ends and fullbacks his play suffered.
Which is ironic because the DAY we drafted him WR Coach Richard Mann said the same thing, that the biggest problem he had was always being in and out of the game at Auburn. Then Haley started doing the same thing to him. Speaking of WR's AB has really started to pour it on thick to Bell to sign his tender and get to camp.

Eli reminds me of Emmanuel sanders and looking forward to see how he progresses this year |

I'm not so sure what happens to Coates. Coming out of college his hands were suspect. He has done nothing to dispel that. We are loaded at WR, but I think he may get 1 more season.

Let's hope he makes the most out of the opportunity. |

If Bryant fucks up again or gets injured I would go Brown/Eli/Coates, and get out of their way.
Those three, with 1 TE, and 1 running back. Keep the subbing to a minimum. |

I think ""(Barring nothing happens to Bryant)"" When the smoke clears, you might see Coate's injured again and it would be >> Brown/Rogers/Shuster at the end of the season. Just a thought...
