Per Kevin Colbert on 8/9. Let's hope the boy does not use the occasion to party himself out of the league.

I'm hearing he's cleared for Pre-season only and practice.

You can bet that the goon goodell will play games with this right up to the first game. I'm betting he's not reinstated until after the 1st game. This guy is why there will be another player's strike

I don't mind the way they're handling this. This has been a recurring problem for Bryant and I think it's a good thing that the NFL is sending him a strong message that "This is it; screw up again and you're history." They're not going to allow him to take it lightly.

Or a full year suspension and then the are back. Are the Steeler's special? They screw with Harrison on his drug testing. > Even testing him 3 times in one month. And now this? It should be one punishment for all. Roger Gooon-dell should not get to pick and choose his punishment for each individual. Knowing he's been gone a year. Knowing he Went through the schooling and the rehab requirements. submitted his rehab plan to the league. > also worked hard through the months for reconditioning without his team. How much more does he need to do? Both the league and him know if he doesn't get it rite this time he's gone for good. |

He will succeed or fall based on his own internals. I'm sick of how the NFL screws with certain teams. Either he's back or not. How do you game plan around a maybe? When will the Steelers find out? Night before the 1st game? Day of? I am not as optimistic about this year as most. I do not think the defense got better where they needed it the most. The D SUCKED against the Pats and Ben STILL drives me nuts the way he can stink it up when the team needs him to carry them. I was really hoping Golson could contribute this year but he's not going to play probably. I have no faith in the coordinators of this team. None. There have been critical plays where he decided to have BOTH AB AND Bell on the sidelines. How does that even happen? Well I digress. It's time for Bryant to either man up or throw millions down the toilet. if I'm a betting man, I'm getting plunger ready. |

But here? I have no problem with it and view intervention and involvement as a good thing. You're going to bitch about our Hall of Fame quarterback who has carried this team virtually since the moment he came into the league? ![]() (08-11-2017, 02:57 AM)Rollers Wrote: I do not think the defense got better where they needed it the most. Yes, the defense remains a question mark. If they improve even marginally vs. last year and the offense does what it's capable of doing, this team is a Super Bowl winner. If the defense slides a little and the offense still produces, we're still a Super Bowl contender. If the defense sucks, Bell goes down, Ben get's hurt and Bryant smokes weed... we're doomed. It's axiomatic. I'm not thrilled with either coordinator, so I think we're in agreement in that regard. But I feel very optimistic and excited about this team talent-wise and I can't WAIT to get this season going! I'm not going to spoil the fun by bitching and hand wringing before the season even starts. |
