Questions about Steelers Training Camp

Something that I've always been interested in checking out is Steelers Training Camp out at St. Vincent's.
I know that members here have attended before and it looks like a good time. I guess I'm just looking for information around pricing, what to expect, recommendations, and if anyone's going this year and would like to meet up? Any/all info is appreciated! |

Lake and I went in 2014.....no cost to get in or to park. It's still a good experience.....you can watch practice on various fields and still get pics and autographs if that's your thing. Of course, there are the obligatory vendors selling overpriced crap.....

I've only been once, and it was fantastic. Beautiful day, and my son got Ben and Charlie Batch's autographs.
Frankly, if I had to choose between going to training camp for FREE or paying $500 for a family of 4 to attend a preseason game, I think St. Vincent's is the better experience. It's unbelievable how close you can get to the players. |

I've been to camp three times ... First time I met McSteeler, Hootie, SuperSteeler, Bill from Hangover, Thumb and maybe a few others from these boards ... We had a very nice day, thanks to Hootie's most gracious hospitality at her family home in Latrobe ... I particularly remember that it was the first time I ever ate haluski ... And Hootie's home had Steelers memorabilia in EVERY nook and cranny ... Awesome day that was !!! My (new) wife and I met with Bill from Hangover and his (new) wife Debbie (long before they married) at Sharky's for lunch the last time we made it to Latrobe ... Bill is one really great guy !!!  Super Bowl or Bust !!! ... (I'm guessing "Bust") ... but hey ...
