Lots of negativity here. Been saying it for years. We are 9-2 and it’s like we are watching the Batan death march.... granted, it’s the worst looking 9-2 team I can remember.

That said, Ben is rounding into form, we have some players out that are dinged that will come back and contribute.

Practice actually helps. You are what you practice. It’s amazing how much better this O looks when they execute.

BTW, what is going on with Rogers and the drops? Talk about alligator arms... wow.

Practice is nice - as are game plans. However in the Army there was a wonderful saying:

"No plan survives the first contact intact"

Let Ben go no huddle and call the plays. Situations on the field change and his audibles are (for the most part) right. The Steelers paid the man a $31 million signing bonus in 2015, a salary and roster bonus of $4.25 million, and $17 million this year. He's capable.

What makes me mad is people say, well Ben can change the play.

Yeah, that's true, when he has a run/pass option play, it's changed solely based on a look a certain defender gives him where positioned on the defense.

But while he can make the correct call, if the personnel on the field is wrong (Like Nix in the slot), it doesn't really matter.
