We'll fix it --- yet again

Burns has been horrible. Missed tackles and continuing to fail in coverage over and over. Corners at this point appear to have zero coverage skills as they got beat all night by a QB with exactly 2 TDs coming into the game. Defense is struggling at the wrong time of the year. Why do you have to fix coverage lapses at this point of the season? Haden going down appears to have been the worst possible injury for this team. Burns appears helpless out there. Hands to the face to keep a drive going and then simply blowing the coverage. You could see the safety coming over to pick up the guy that burns chose to cover while letting the receiver wide open to the end zone. Then watching him laughing it up on the sideline after giving the packers a score was pretty hard to take. This defense is in trouble at this point. Bengals will be fighting for their lives on their turf next week. AJ green is world's better than anything we saw on the field last night. Tired of hearing "we'll take the win" Tired of it. I guess I have about zero confidence in this defense at this point

Look at this

Those things have to include the hair-raising recurrence of opponents galloping joyously through a Steelers secondary that’s taken the whole bend-but-not-break caper to preposterous contortions. In the past three games, touchdown passes of 54, 55, 60, 61, and 75 yards have pierced Pittsburgh’s pass defense; if this were a movie, it’d be a slasher film.

now the "we'll fix it"

“We just have to adjust to it,” said nickel back Mike Hilton. “It’s the NFL. We’re gonna give up big plays. We’re not gonna be perfect; it’s about how you bounce back. We feel with the guys we have on the back end and the front end, we’ll be fine. It’s little things regarding discipline. When we get those things fixed we’ll cut down on big plays.”

after 11 games you mean to tell me it's still "the little things regarding discipline"? Sorry if you don't have those fixed by now they're not going to get fixed. Disgusted by the play of the secondary. Look at those touchdown passes in just the LAST THREE GAMES. Please don't tell me you're going to "fix it" It should be fixed by now

Our deep safety play ( Mitchell- Golden)has been horrific. True, Burns has been sporadic on a number of required job skills, but with Davis covering TEs and RBs at the LOS, he’s not getting much help over the top. If anything has come clear, Burns needs some serious over the top help.
