What a game last night. For those Tomlin doubters out there, last night was a coaching masterpiece. To hold this team together through all that happened, even the most dyed in the wool haters have to give him his due.
Losing a revered player to potentially life changing injury early and getting his team back on task, fending off a emotionally charged team with their season on the line on their home turf, going down early, the personnel changes, battling the elements, not to mention the pressure of holding serve with the Patriots in the playoff seeding race, my gosh, what else do you want out the guy? |

And I don't disagree with anything you just said. But... It WAS the Bengals, sooooo.... ![]() |

I'm still a Tomlin doubter and I"m with Tim. What do I want out of the guy? A victory next week and one after that. That's what I want. I'm tired of Belichik taking him to the woodshed. We have the talent to compete. I detest all the excuses that teams make for the other team when it's a pretty poor team you're playing. How about, we were playing for home field advantage? It's a division game? A win here sets us up for a home advantage. Screw the Bengals playing for their playoff hopes. Not to pick a fight with you but I am SICK of this team playing like this against teams that get beat by almost everyone. Tired of it. Why can't the steelers be "emotionally charged"? Is that a fair question? I guess the Steelers aren't capable of carrying any emotion into a game like that?
As usual it was AB that set the tone. Toughness. No practice and yet he's out there doing everything asked of him over and over. Why does the team with less talent poorer coaching have the emotional edge? Weren't the Steelers fighting for something? Indianapolis, Bungals, THE BROWNS for goodness sakes. 3 point wins. Yeah I'll take it but it shows where we are weak. So much talent. Even with Shazier done for the year, and yes I don't think he comes back this year. It wasn't the exact same injury suffered by the last Steeler to have this issue. This one was much more serious. So will Tomlin and boys be able to fill that gap? 44 WAS LOST last night. Looking around continually for someone to tell him where to play. So what more do i want? I want a superbowl run. Probably Ben's last year. Next year will be hideous as we have Landry. We'll see what this team has left |

It's as easy as this:
#7, #10, #19, #84, #81, #26. No huddle - Get Haley the F out of the way. Blitz, Blitz, Blitz I saw Watt drop into coverage more than rush last night. I think Tomlin has improved, but Haley is ridiculously terrible, and Butler seems to take a half to wake up. Next - Minkah, #39! ![]() |

I would like to point out that players play, coaches coach. There is a line there, and to the untrained eye, for most of us, it’s really hard to see where that is good play or bad. Last night it was very evident where that line was, and the quality, excuse me, the qualities you want in a head coach were on full display in vivid color. JMO, however... |

Asshat Haley HAD to start his beloved fullback and use his 4th team tight end on the first series.
Five snaps for Nix. The ONLY five snaps he saw on offense. WTF is the point? And Haley does this shit all the time, which is why we usually start slow on offense since he's been here. |

Arians went 12-4 back to back and won an AFC title in his last two seasons and got fired.
So what their record is doesn't absolve Haley of his bullshit. Nix has barely played for three weeks, they've scored 94 points in those 12 quarters. Not a coincidence. Leave him on ST's where he belongs. |

BTW, how did Arian do Sunday?? Looks like his offensive juggernaut don’t crack the 20 point barrier...again...
