Jimmy Graham is a free agent (like I said, a dream. Imagine our offense....)
As well as Alex Okafor. He blew an achillies after he signed a 1-year offer with the Saints this year. He'd really fit well.... And I cringe for Baker Mayfield. I live in Austin and though not into college football very much, it's a religion in Texas. Mayfield is an Austin kid who's playing for the hated Oklahoma Sooners. Tomorrow night he's GOING to win the Heisman. As soon as that's over, he needs to get ready for the National Championship playoffs. However, his biggest challenge is going to be a daily prayer from January 9 - April 26, 2018 that he doesn't go to Cleveland Browns owner: Finding QB is John Dorsey's top priority http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000...p-priority Just wonder which poor sap is going to have the Orange Crow of Death land at his door.... ...and I'm already dreading "Imma Need 17"s contract.

I think Mayfield is Manziel 2.0 as far as his attitude. He's also short. Unless Haley would totally re-vamp what he likes to do on offense drafting Mayfield would be useless. He wouldn't be a drop back passer. They would have to adapt what the Saints have done with Brees (who is also short) and constantly move the pocket to create throwing windows for him.
The ONLY two QB's in this class I'm sold on are Darnold or Rosen. I would tag Bell again. No way do I give him a long term deal. He's going to be running on fumes in 2 years. BOTH Whiz and Arians, made it a point, to get the #2 RB involved, AN D both had a 3rd down back. Haley just sends Bell out there every year until he drops. James Conner has the easiest job on the team. |

I'd like to see them develop Connor a little more. If we slip up and lose the obvious #1 playoff seed spot, or outright win #1 seed by week 15, I say give Connor the start vs. the Brownies on New Years Eve.
I'd also Tag Bell. |

They should be using Conner as the RB in last two minutes. His speed would be an asset in that exact situation.
He's much leaner, and looks much faster than he did at Pitt because for the first time in years he can focus on conditioning rather than trying to juggle football and the classroom. |

I'd like to see Connor run a little more north and south.
Next - Minkah, #39! ![]() |
